Save the damn planet

I consider myself a relatively informed person, and climate change has been my #1 issue for a long time. We’re campers on this planet and not only are we leaving our trash at our campsite, we’re creating way too damn much of it — the average American produces 100 pounds of CO2 trash per day!

And yet, I had no idea what to do to save the planet. So I dug in. It turns out there are a few really important lifestyle changes each of us can implement that make a real difference. Some of these were on my radar, some weren’t.

So Alisa and I built Save the Damn Planet to share with you what actually matters.

Go there, get an idea, and save the damn planet. But if you want lots more details about climate change, here’s a long post about things I learned in the process, including some things I thought were bad which turned out not to matter and which I now get to do guilt-free.

This is the beginning of a series of blog entries about climate change. Mike Develin, with Alisa Peters, built Save the Damn Planet.
